After reading some negative reviews regarding the ridiculously expensive dinner pricing, I decided to postpone coming here unless it’s for lunch. I ordered my meal through Foodora during lunch since I didn’t have a lunch that day and I still have some referral credits left 🙂
Ordered some shareable dishes to share with my coworkers. Chips with fermented veggie pate. My coworkers said the pate was disgusting… I didn’t think it was THAT bad. Just a little sweet and unique flavour profile. I rather eat the store bought chips on its own.
I wanted their nacho average wontons but it wasn’t offered for lunch. The nachos were just store bought chips. Queso was good yet nothing special.
This seems to be their most popular dish from Attila The HUNgry. They did not disappoint and lived up to their hype. Drizzled with Sriracha, aioli, topped with green onions, chopped peanuts, and roasted duck. Spicy and sweet. We all loved this dish and it was savaged in less than 5 minutes!
For the main entree, I opted for the crack chicken sandwich — a beer and citrus brined chicken with cooked bean sprout slaw. This sandwich was good. Not amazing. The bean sprout slaw gives it a nice sweet flavour. Chicken was quite dry and tough. I didn’t enjoy the honey siraracha dip either. I hate describing food like this but it just tasted weird. I’m not sure if I like it or not. Wouldn’t order it again.
Their dinner looks very overpriced for what its worth. Lunch was a lot more affordable. Food was just okay. Nothing spectacular except the duck tots. I’m glad I didn’t come here for dinner and spend $50+ per person like Leduc at LetsEatYeg haha (click here to read his dinner review)!
